Why do you feel you would make a valuable addition to the MCN board?

I would be honored to serve on the MCN Board of Directors. Throughout my career I have served in a variety of leadership roles both as an employee and as a board member. I have experienced first-hand the complex needs of our local and statewide non-profits.

I bring a belief in the power of people working together to strengthen our communities. However, we can't be asked to do more with less. Sustainability within an organization starts with careful planning rooted in capacity and wellness.

We have recently seen the tremendous impact when our local non-profits face daunting cuts to resources. As the state's leader in non-profit work, MCN can inspire, teach and advocate for organizations that are on the front line in our communities.

I am inspired by the strategic priorities of MCN, I resonate with a commitment to build a human centered agency that works to bring a message of power and value to our collective work. I believe in the importance of advancing equity and justice within our sector. This requires leadership, trust and humility. I will bring those qualities to the board.
